Description
looked in the mirror today and forgot to be disgusted by what I saw.
I saw skin, some smooth, some dappled, stretched tight in that spot yet loose and wrinkled over there.
I looked in the mirror today and saw a body that is well fed and well-watered and well-loved despite of its rolls and wobbles.
How lucky, I thought, to be able to afford the luxury of a stomach that glorious.
I looked in the mirror today and saw art.
I wonder if I could replicate those skin tones in paint, cut that curve with my blade, create something anywhere as beautiful as that form in the glass.
I looked in the mirror today and I smiled.
